Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our services portfolio. This role requires a blend of market research, planning, client engagement, relationship management, and collaboration with delivery teams to provide winning solutions.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, market research, and outreach efforts.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate target markets and acquire new clients.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to provide customized IT solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop go-to-market strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft tailored proposals and solutions that meet client requirements.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Maintain detailed update on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools like Zoho or HubSpot.
- Generate regular reports on performance metrics and growth opportunities for senior management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of IT services, ERP, and managed services. Sales experience in Blue Yonder and SAP related services is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
